rain drops

I was practicing my macro shots on Sunday
and took these of Lady's Mantle and Bleeding Heart.
I thought of someone who's counted another sad anniversary.
The depth of that sorrow must reach beyond what can be measured.
But I also saw beauty surpassing anything Liz Taylor ever wore.

lingering rain drops
mirror the heart’s aching tears
some wounds never heal

nature’s cleansing rain
left tiny glittering drops
like liquid diamonds

What a heart-filled post! I love the haiku and photos, Kim. It's a special gift to see the beauty around us, and to celebrate it. I will always remember, and know that sorrows ease with time. Hugs for you, this May Day!

You are right about some wounds never healing. We push them back and then something is there to remind us of that day, event, etc. and there we go again. Beautiful Haiku's Kim. Nice going. By the way, go for it. Go to a Mexican store and walk around and see, feel, and enjoy. It won't hurt. We are all the same.

Lovely Kim. Your words are a comfort to those of us who have lost our loved ones. Thank you for sharing the beauty of rain drops! :-)
